Terms & Conditions

When a customer agrees to service from Float Easy the following Terms and Conditions apply:

Charges/ Credits: Charges consist of one time charges and/or monthly recurring charges.  Recurring amounts are billed monthly, rate plans vary depending upon the services included.  All existing customers regardless of the rate plan are paying for a month to month service with no contracted or required term.   All charges are converted to credits on your account. Once a charge is processed the credit may not be refunded.

Services Provided: The customer understands that Float Easy provides flotation therapy (also known as sensory deprivation) to help improve health and wellness.  Customer understands that Float Easy does not guarantee the effectiveness. Float Easy reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.

Transfer of Credits:  Customers may transfer their credits to anyone for any of our services except for the unlimited floats per month package.  The unlimited floats per month package may only be used by the customer who signed up and is paying for that package. In addition if there is a free float or promo float; that credit may not be transferred to someone who is already a customer of Float Easy.  Credits expire twenty four months after issuance.

Membership, Cancellation, and Refund:  Customers have agreed to membership terms for the rate plan that they select.  The membership effective date is the date in which the membership agreement is signed by Customer.  The first billing date is 7 Days from the membership effective date, granting the new member 7 days free.  When a customer enters into a membership then the customer acknowledges that the membership will automatically continue on a month-to-month basis at the agreed amount per month until the membership is cancelled.   All cancellations require 30 days written notice and are effective 30 days after the date the final EFT payment has been processed. Payments due prior to the effective date will be charged as scheduled. Customer agrees and understands that there is a 24 hour appointment cancellation policy.  If Customer does not cancel their appointment 24 hours prior to their scheduled appointment there will be a $35 cancellation fee. If Customer is using their monthly credit they will forfeit the credit in lieu of the $35 cancellation fee. All charges are converted to credits on your account. Once a charge is processed the credit may not be refunded.

No Liability:  Float Easy, its suppliers, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, subsidiaries, and assigns shall not be liable for any damages whatsoever and the customer irrevocably releases and waives any claims.  Customer understands that each individual may have a unique experience. The customer takes full responsibility for their thoughts and actions while in the float pod and Float Easy’s premises and understand that all agreements made herein shall apply to each and every visit to Float Easy and every time the float pods are used.  Further, the Customer recognizes that by agreeing to the terms and conditions serves as a complete and unconditional release of all liability to the greatest extent allowed by the law in the State of California.

Liability Waiver and Release:  Customer recognizes and agrees to all of the following; Customer does not have any open wounds or cuts; Customer does not have any communicable diseases, illnesses, or skin disorders; Customer understands that they are not permitted to float if they are under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs; Customer understands that if they have a history of heart disease, blackouts, diabetes, seizures, epilepsy, or any other medical condition that requires supervision of a doctor, they have consulted with and obtained consent from their doctor prior to using the float pod.  Customer takes full responsibility for any negative or harmful effects associated with these conditions; In the event of an emergency, Customer authorizes Float Easy staff to call qualified emergency medical staff on their behalf and will not hold them liable for any costs or suffering as a result of any medical intervention I receive; Customer agrees to shower thoroughly before and after; Customer is responsible if they contaminate or discolor the water in the float pod with bodily fluids of any kind or damage the float pod and will be held financially responsible for replacement of the water, Epsom salt and cleaning services; Customers with chemically processed hair and/or spray tans agree to wait at least 5-10 days and make sure their hair and/or skin rinse clear before using the float pod; Red, magenta and violet shades are prone to long term seepage.  It is recommended that Customer waits at least 10 days and test for any seepage to assure that these colors do not wash out in the float pod; Customer understands that using a tanning bed or shaving within 24 hours of floating may cause skin irritation. Customer agrees to use the float pods at Float Easy of their own free will and agree to not hold the facility, operators, staff, or owners liable for any injury or medical complications that may result from using the float pod; Customer agrees to use great caution during each visit at Float Easy; Customer agrees that if they do not exit the float room at the end of their scheduled appointment they authorize a Float Easy employee to enter the room to ensure there is no medical emergency. Customer understands that the water in the pods contain high levels of pharmaceutical grade Epsom salt and are sanitized with UV sterilization, ozone oxidation, hydrogen peroxide (3%), and non-toxic cleaning agents; Women agree that they are not currently menstruating and if pregnant that they have consent from their doctor to use the float pod.

Waiver of Personal Injury: I am aware the float room is constructed as a wet room and can become slippery due to water from the shower, from the float pod, and from the entire float experience and I will be careful at all times while standing or walking so as not to slip and fall. I represent that I will take the utmost care throughout my time on the Float Easy premises today and at each and every visit going forward.

I certify that I am physically capable of participation in my float session; if I have a physical limitation, or have the need for assistance of any kind, I will bring someone to my float appointment with me, as I understand that the Float Easy staff is not trained to assist me in my appointment.

I AM AWARE THAT ACTIVITIES I MAY ENGAGE IN WHILE IN MY FLOAT SESSION CAN CAUSE ONE TO SLIP OR FALL, , AND HEREBY STATE AND ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I AM VOLUNTARILY PARTICIPATING IN THE FLOAT SESSION WITH FULL KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF THE RISKS INVOLVED, AND AGREE TO ACCEPT ANY AND ALL RISKS OF INJURY WHILE I AM ENGAGED IN THE FLOAT SESSION, I VERIFY THIS STATEMENT BY SIGNING THE WAIVER.

Minors:  All minors under the age of 18 must have a guardian present on the premise the entire time the minor is at Float Easy.  If the minor is under the age of 13 the guardian must be in the float room with them while they float. If the minor is under the age of 10 the guardian must sit in the float pod with them. Guardian must complete all paperwork and agree to all terms on behalf of minor.

Photo Consent and Release: I give permission to interview, film, photograph, tape, or otherwise make a video reproduction of me and/or record my voice; permission to use my name; and permission to use quotes from the interview(s) (or excerpts of such quotes), the film, photograph(s), tape(s) or reproduction(s) of me, and/or recording of my voice, in part or in whole, in its publications, in newspapers, magazines and other print media, on television, radio and electronic media (including the Internet), in theatrical media and/or in mailings for educational and awareness.

Indemnity: Customer shall indemnify and hold Float Easy, its successors, suppliers, affiliates,  officers, directors, employees, subsidiaries, and assigns harmless from any liability or loss resulting from any judgments or claims against Float Easy.

Consent to AutoDialing, Text Messages and Email:  Customer agrees and consents that Float Easy and its affiliates may contact you through an automated dialing service, text message, or email regarding appointments, promotions, and other communications.

Terms and Conditions: Float Easy may change its terms and conditions without prior notice, at its sole discretion.  To document your terms and conditions for your service, we recommend that you print these terms and conditions and store them in a file or electronically.

Governing Law and Venue:  By purchasing Float Easy’s service you agree that your agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of California.  You also agree and hereby submit to the jurisdiction and venue of the State of California, County of Orange, with respect to any such matter relating to your purchase of Float Easy’s services.

Agreement to Arbitrate: Any dispute, claim or controversy arising out of or relating to this Agreement or breach, termination, enforcement, interpretation or validity thereof, including the determination of the scope of applicability of this agreement to arbitrate, shall be determined by arbitration in Orange County, California before one arbitrator.  The arbitration shall be administered by JAMS pursuant to its Comprehensive Arbitration Rules and Procedures. Judgment on the Award may be entered by a California court, whereby Customer consents to personal jurisdiction. This clause shall not preclude parties from seeking provisional remedies in aid of arbitration from a Court located in the County of Orange in the State of California.

Authority to Sign: The person agreeing to service on behalf of the customer hereby represents and warrants that he or she has the authority, and ability, to act on behalf of the customer.
